These beautiful lamp shades are handmade in Southern Tunisia by skilled local craftsmen from Date Palms. The Date Palms are harvested between Spring and Summer, the stems are extremely strong and can grow up to 20m. Once dried the fibres are so versatile that they can be used to make so many different products, nothing goes to waste.
The frame size is 60cm diameter x 40cm high, the flow of the fibres do make it larger which is which what this style is all about .
This size shade is also perfect for the Branched and driftwood driftwood floor lamps 173cm tall.
